Do you have questions about Joining Hearts? We want to help. Below, you’ll find some of our most frequently asked questions. If your question isn’t answered, contact our team.
Are you a Pregnancy Center? Do you offer Prenatal Care?
No, we are not a medical facility and do not provide pregnancy tests, medical care or ultrasounds. We provide life-affirming pregnancy support. Joining Hearts helps pregnant women as they make life-affirming decisions and provides connections to community resources.
How much does it cost?
Our pregnancy support services are free. You will never be asked to pay for these services.
Will you keep my information private?
Yes, everything you tell us is confidential. Information is only released with your approval.
Who can call or text to get help?
Anyone can call or text our toll-free number, 888-818-4445. We often hear from pregnant women and other family members, such as fathers and grandparents.
At what point in the pregnancy should I call?
You can call at any point in your pregnancy and even after you have given birth. The earlier you call, the earlier we can begin to provide support.
Do you help with finances?
When Joining Hearts is unable to meet clients’ needs, we help connect them to community partners and resources that can help. Our pregnancy specialists will share information about resources for housing, food stamps, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), clothing, medical care, counseling, etc.
Can I help or volunteer?
To protect the privacy of our clients, we do not utilize on-site volunteers. However, we can facilitate group volunteer projects like diaper or baby item donation drives at your location. Individuals wanting to help can also purchase items off our Amazon Wish List or bus passes.
Will someone present about this at my church?
Someone from our team would be happy to share about Joining Hearts at your church or social group.
